How is your school handling COVID?
Just like any other school, CCA was required to close in the spring of the 2019-2020 School Year. During that summer, the County of San Diego issued waivers for schools that could create a comprehensive health and safety plan that could ensure the safety of students at school during the COVID pandemic. Thanks to the administrators and principals, CCA submitted their Health and Safety plan which was approved. This allowed our students to come back on campus in Fall of the 2021-22 School year. CCA was one of the first schools in San Diego to received the approved waiver. Since then, our school has been able to loosen and strengthen their Health and Safety protocols as the threat of the virus fluctuates.
Does you school offer after school programs?
After receiving generous donations by our families for the Fun Run fundraiser in the Fall of 2021, CCA is making a push to begin offering after school programs to our students. The desire for CCA is not to offer After School programs as a substitute for the investment in academic learning but to help spark an interest in students in various activities that can lead to a passion in a future vocation or hobby.
